Revolutionary Patent Pending Design
Gutterglove fits on virtually any existing gutter.  It was designed that way!  No special brackets or lowering of your gutters is necessary!  Gutterglove's specfications were designed so that it simply slips under the roof shingles and fits snuggly to the front lip of your gutter.  Three stainless steel screws are used to secure each 5 foot section to the front lip of your gutter.  Gutterglove is the ONLY gutter guard company in the world that uses 100% stainless steel screws.  Other screws may rust over time.  Gutterglove didn’t want to take that chance.  As far as water flow capacity, Gutterglove can handle up to 200 inches of hourly rainfall as demonstrated on our water displays at home and garden shows.

Rains and Winds Splash Off Debris
The photo above left (Before) was taken December 2nd, just a week or so after the first rains in Northern California.  The photo on the right (After) was taken February 13th, just a little more than two months apart.  Our research study shows that in most cases the pounding of the rain and the wind, and the slope of the roof naturally ‘splash’ off most of the sand, leaves and debris and helps keep the functionality of Gutterglove performing year after year.

Visibility of Gutterglove on Your Home
Painted colors are not needed because Gutterglove is not easily seen from the ground.  It stands up about 1/8th of an inch above the front lip of the gutter, and recessed back about 1/8th of and inch from the front lip of the gutter.

Fingers and Thumbs
Gutter SeamEach 5 foot section seams together with a ‘finger’.  A finger, as shown in the photo below left is an aluminum fastener that neatly, accurately and firmly locks the sections in place by fitting into ’grooves’ on each side of the aluminum channel that supports the 316L Stainless Steel mesh.    Rain does NOT run off the fingers and over the gutter.  The fingers have a slight pitch upwards along the length of their middle that drains water back into the mesh.  Other companies generally use caulking to seam sections together, which will later crack, tear or peal in the sun.

Home GuttersOn outside corners we seam the sections together with ‘thumbs’ as shown in the photo above right.  Like the fingers, the thumbs are a little larger and decoratively seam together the two sections making a sealed enclosure.   Again, other companies use calking on their outside corner seams which look very unattractive.

GutterThe photo shows the use of endcaps to seal off Gutterglove at the end of a gutter. This helps keep bugs, birds and animals out.

Because of the lesser quality materials and design of other similar gutter guards, we are frequently requested to replace them with Gutterglove.  Our gutter guard was designed to be your first and last choice.

Roof Valley Water Over-Flow Problems On Inside Gutter Corners
The biggest problem for gutter guard company's is solving the water over-flow issue of where the roof valleys meet the gutter guard on an inside gutter corner (See photo below of what an inside gutter corner looks like, ... also called an 'inside miter').  Unfortunately, no gutter guard company has ever come close to solving this problem.  The enormous amount of water that can flow down a valley and through the gutter guard, tends to actually shoot off a gutter guard like a waterfall and into your landscaping.  Generally under higher than normal rainfalls.  Homes that do not have inside gutter corners do not have this problem.  There are currently no problems with 'outside gutter corners', ... or otherwise called 'outside miters'.

Gutterglove Gutter GuardGutterglove has a patent pending solution that eliminates this problem.  Of course, there is a trade off.  Our research has taught us to use a high grade modified stainless steel mesh for easier rain penetration and reduced daming potential of the larger amounts of debris flowing down the valley.  The trade off, .... you may have to clean the top of the inside valley corner mesh once or twice a year or every couple of years, or maybe only once every 3 to 4 years depending on the amount of debris that sits up on the roof valley.

In general, if you have a repetative problem with leaf buildup on your roof valleys, then you will have leaf buildup on the modified valley drains on Gutterglove.  Thankfully though, with the use of Gutterglove's Magic Brush, it takes less than a minute to clean off the mesh on a valley drain.  If the debris is piling up that much, you would have to clean off the roof anyway.  Any debris that goes into the gutter through the larger mesh openings on our valley drains will be to such a small degree that a properly installed gutter will wash virtually all the debris down the downspout.  Be very leery of any gutter guard company that doesn't faithfully address this issue openly.

It's worth mentioning here that Gutterglove allows the LEAST amount of debris into your gutter than any other gutter guard manufactured in the world today.  The hole openings per square inch in the fine mesh we use (Other than the valley corners) is approximately 10,000.

Functionality
Gutterglove Gutter ProtectionDurability, longevity and efficiency were the three biggest concerns for the designers of Gutterglove.  We had have never seen a gutter guard with all three qualities.  Yet that is what our customers were requesting.  Some gutter guards we researched were durable, yet survived a few short years in the weather, ….. or they may have been somewhat efficient, yet not durable or long lasting in the weather, …. or some could last a lifetime, yet poorly efficient and not durable.

Gutterglove is durable, efficient and will last a very long time.  Even if part of the mesh were to have a problem, it was designed in such a way that with minimal effort, the mesh can be taken out of the aluminum channel and replaced with another piece of mesh.  No other gutter guard can do this as efficiently as Gutterglove.
